The teen superhero drama Stargirl wrapped up its first season last year, and its second season is set to premiere this August. The creator of the series, Geoff Johns, also wrote the original comics of Stargirl, and he now produces the show. When Will Season 2 Be Released?

Season 2 is scheduled to be premiere on August 10th, 2021 on The CW, and there will be a total of 13 episodes that will be released on a weekly basis. Season 2 will feature many of the same cast members as season 1, including Brec Bessinger as Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl), Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan (S.T.R.I.P.E), Yvette Monreal as Yolanda Montez (Wildcat II), and Anjelika Washington as Beth Chapel (Dr. Mid-Nite).

What Is the Story of Season 2?

Not much is known about where season 2 will take Stargirl and company, though there are some reports that The Shade, a mysterious and seemingly immortal figure will play a bigger role this season. It is also rumored that the main adversary the team will face will be Eclipso this season, who first appeared in the final episode of season 1. 

There seems to be a lot in store for the new Justice Society of America, and fans anxiously await to find out more when the second season premiers.
