The biggest pyramid in the world is the Great Pyramid of Khufu. This pyramid is so big that it has more than 2 million blocks of stone and it took around 20 years to complete it, which means it ended construction at around 2560 BC. When it comes to numbers, the pyramid is around 755 feet in length, 455 high.

The second one on the list is the Pyramid of Khafre, which is also the second largest pyramid at Giza. The Pyramid of Khafre does look like it’s larger, however that’s because it has a higher elevation. This pyramid has a base length of around 706 ft and originally, it rose to the height of around 471 ft, but right now it’s 12 meters shorter due to the structural damages it has received throughout the years.

The Quetzalcóatl Pyramid of Cholula de Rivadavia, which is around 63 miles southeast of Mexico City is the third on the list. The Quetzalcóatl Pyramid of Cholula de Rivadavia is so big that it is 177 feet tall and its base alone covers the area of around 45 acres. The total volume of the largest pyramid is at around 3.3 million  m³. In comparison, the Great Pyramid of Khufu only has around 2.4 million m³.
