- The Woman In The Window
A psychological thriller based on a controversial novel of the same name, The Woman In The Window, boasts of a stellar cast comprising Amy Adams, Gary Oldman, Julianne Moore and Anthony Mackie. The movie is scheduled to be released on Netflix after a theatrical release was cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic.
Directed by Joe Wright, the premise revolves around the experiences of an agoraphobic child psychologist (Adams) who befriends her new neighbor (Moore). - Army Of The Dead
Imagine a world where a deadly contagion has turned almost everyone into undead zombies, and you have to rob a casino amidst everything. Sounds crazy? Well, that’s Army of the Dead for you. Directed by Zack Snyder, it stars former professional wrestler Dave Bautista, Theo Rossi, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ella Purnell, Ana de la Reguera, Tig Notaro, and Indian actress Huma Qureshi, amongst others.
The story revolves around a band of mercenaries led by Bautista. A wealthy businessman, played by Hiroyuki Sanada, hires them to plan a heist of a casino in Las Vegas in the middle of a zombie outbreak. - Cruella
Remember Cruella from Disney’s 101 Dalmatians animation or the book of the same name by Dodie Smith? You might be more familiar with the former; nevertheless, Cruella’s got a movie of her own now.
Emma Stone is playing the titular role with Emma Thompson and Mark Strong in supporting roles. Cruella de Vil, an ambitious fashion designer with an obsession for Dalmatian furs. Director Craig Gillespie leads the charge, and the film is to be released in theatres & the Disney+ OTT platform simultaneously on 28th May 2021.
The eighth installment in the successful supernatural horror franchise, the movie dwells into the investigation of famous paranormal investigators Ed & Lorraine Warren of the murder trial of Anne Cheyenne Johnson.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as the Warrens as they uncover horrifying things and fight with demonic forces to save the soul of a young boy. Directed by Michael Chaves, the film is set for release on June 4, 2021, and a month-long simultaneous release on the HBO Max streaming service on the same date.
- Black Widow
She may have sacrificed her life for the Soul Stone in Avengers Endgame, but Natasha Romanoff is alive & kicking bad guys in this standalone movie about a KGB assassin with a heart of gold.
Scarlett Johansson is back as the superhero assassin in this movie which is a part of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Black Widow faces a deadly conspiracy that forces her to confront her troubled past. The movie also stars David Harbour, William Hurt, Florence Pugh, Ray Winstone and Rachel Weisz, and is directed by Cate Shortland.

- The Suicide Squad
From Marvel, we now head over to the DC Expanded universe with The Suicide Squad, a rag-tag band of psychotics, criminals & misfits brought together by force.
James Gunn directs this movie which stars an ensemble cast, with Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinneman, Pete Davidson, Viola Davis, Sylvester Stallone & the like. The story has the squad heading over to destroy an island prison & retrieve a precious entity. Watch the goons of the DCEU wreak havoc in theatres and in HBO Max on 6th August 2021.
- Venom: Let There Be Carnage
We are back to the MCU as Tom Hardy reprise his role as the human-alien symbiote Venom in this sequel.
Director Andy Serkis directs Hardy, Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams and Naomie Harris in the second installment about the alien symbiote that meets its match in a similar, much more violent form. Spider-Man is rumored to make an appearance given that both Venom & Carnage are Spidey’s rivals. To be released on September 2021 in theaters, get ready to witness some carnage!
- No Time To Die
007 is back with another deadly mission in this brand-new James Bond installment directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga.
Daniel Craig is back as the famed British intelligence operative who faces a devious villain played by Rami Malek. The film also stars Christoph Waltz as the renowned Ernst Stavro Blofeld, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris, Lea Seydoux, and Ben Whishaw. To be released on 30th September in the UK and 8th October in the US after being delayed, get to your nearest theatre to witness the master spy at work.
- Eternals
The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Fourth Phase continues with Eternals, a film revolving around a secretive society of enhanced human beings with superpowers who are forced to come out of hiding.
Eternals boasts of a stellar cast starring Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Richard Madden, Kit Harrington, Gemma Chan, Salma Hayek, and many other talents. The Eternals unite once again to fight against their evil counterparts, the Deviants, at a theatre near you on November 5th 2021.
- Spider-Man: No Way Home
Tom Holland’s back as Spiderman after Homecoming & Far From Home as the MCU continues its Fourth Phase.
The rumored premise of the movie involves parallel universes and the return of characters from early Spider-Man movies such as Electro & Doctor Octopus. Jon Watts directs the film that has rumored ties with the ending of Marvel’s WandaVision series and stars Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange.
